Qualifications

My name is Chris Brown. I started Georgia Home Inspection Services LLC along with my wife of 25+ years, Callie. We are originally from central Florida and moved to central Georgia in 2016. The Lord has blessed us with two awesome children, who both graduated from Mary Persons High School in Forsyth, Ga. Our son, Brock, is attending Kennesaw State University and our daughter, Loren, is attending Georgia Southern University. I worked 20 years in the electric utility industry. Over the years, my wife and I have built, bought and sold multiple homes. We have also done some work with home renovations.

To fully prepare myself, I completed my home inspection certification through ICA (Inspection Certification Associates). After receiving certification from ICA, I went on to receive further education and received my residential and commercial certifications through InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors). This association requires its members to perform extensive continuing education courses annually to remain a member.

I am also a member of ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors), which is the national organization for professionals practicing home inspection. ASHI is dedicated to the advancement of the home inspection industry, to the professional growth of its members, and to the education of consumers about home ownership and safety. We use state-of-the-art inspection tools and reporting software. We abide by a strict Code of Ethics, which puts our clients first and protects their rights as consumers. We will also provide our recommendations for monitoring, repair or replacement.

I received specialized training and certification through the International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants (IAC2) in both mold and radon testing.

Together, IAC2 Mold and Radon Certification shows the inspector meets nationally recognized education and ethical standards for indoor air quality testing, providing clients with professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy assessments.
